My frugal life—-a short reflection
I was having lunch with my sister and some of her coworkers today. I had brought my sister some shampoo from my stockpile and they asked if I had gotten it with coupons. Of course I did. As I thought about it, I realized that I had purchased everything I was wearing with coupons and I probably had not spent more than $10-$15 even though the top and undergarments were from Victoria’s Secret and my purse is a Relic.
How did I do it? The 2 C’s. Clearance and Coupons! The only thing better is when you can combine the 2. Points are another way to get awesome stuff for free or very low cost. That’s how I got the $70 Relic leather purse for only $1.99! It was on clearance and I used my Shop Your Way Rewards points at Sears.
Living frugally doesn’t mean you can’t have nice things. Quite the opposite. It just means that you get your nice things for a whole lot less.
