Organization is key
Like everything else in my life, my grocery shopping and coupons are all very organized to maximize my savings and minimize the amount of time I have to spend doing it.
When I clip my coupons, I organize them differently than most people. I went through several “systems” before I found the one that worked for me. I clip my coupons and sort them by date. I then place them in a photo album (photo #1) that I purchased at Dollar General for $2. Each coupon (or like coupon with the same date) gets it’s own slot in the album. (photo #2)
When it comes to shopping this is my process. First, I make my list for all of the stores I shop based on this week’s sale ads-these include Target, Kroger, Meijer and Walgreens. Then, I gather the coupons I will need to go with those items. I put each store’s coupons in a separate envelope with it’s respective list. I also have a master list of items I need that were not in the sale ads. I will purchase those wherever they are cheapest.
